Items You Can't Put In Our Dumpster
At MIP Rentals, we are committed to responsible waste disposal while complying with local and environmental regulations. The following items CANNOT be placed in our dumpsters:
Yard Waste
Grass clippings, leaves, branches, and other organic waste should be disposed of through local yard waste collection programs.
Concrete & Heavy Debris
Large amounts of concrete, bricks, and rocks can exceed weight limits and must be disposed of separately.
Batteries
Lead-acid and lithium batteries contain harmful chemicals and must be recycled properly.
Wet Paint
Paint, varnishes, and stains can be harmful to the environment. Allow paint to dry completely or take it to a hazardous waste facility.
Automotive Fluids
Antifreeze, transmission fluid, brake fluid, and other vehicle-related chemicals should be taken to a designated waste facility.
Oil
Motor oil, cooking oil, and other petroleum-based liquids are considered hazardous and must be disposed of at an appropriate recycling center.
Solvents
Paint thinners, degreasers, and industrial solvents can be flammable and hazardous, requiring special disposal.
Lawn & Garden Chemicals
Pesticides, fertilizers, and herbicides contain harmful substances that should not be placed in dumpsters.
Anything That Contains Asbestos
Asbestos materials are extremely hazardous and must be removed by licensed professionals following strict disposal procedures.
Pesticides
Any pesticide, whether liquid, powder, or aerosol, is highly toxic and must be disposed of following hazardous waste guidelines.
Any Products Deemed Hazardous
Items labeled as toxic, flammable, corrosive, or reactive must be disposed of according to state and federal regulations.
Bricks
Large quantities of bricks can exceed weight limits and may require separate disposal depending on volume and project size.
Shingles
Roofing shingles, especially asphalt shingles, can be heavy and may require special handling or disposal at approved facilities.
Stumps
Tree stumps are not accepted due to weight, size, and disposal restrictions. Please contact a landscaping or land-clearing service for proper removal.
Dirt
Soil, fill dirt, and large amounts of earth material are prohibited as they quickly exceed dumpster weight limits.
Corrosive Materials
Acids, strong cleaners, and chemically corrosive substances are hazardous and must be disposed of according to environmental regulations.
Paint
Liquid paint is not allowed. Paint must be completely dried before disposal or taken to a hazardous waste facility.
Tires
Car, truck, tractor, and other rubber tires are not permitted in our dumpsters.
